Polygel® 35 is a self-thickening, brush-on polyurethane liquid mould rubber designed for making thin, stretchy brushed moulds. When Part A & Part B are mixed together, the rubber self-thickens to a creamy consistency ideal for making moulds on vertical and overhead surfaces. Molud makers often apply the first layer of Polygel® 35 without any additional thickener and then add PolyFiber II Thickeners to subsequent layers.
Polygel products consist of two parts (A and B) that immediately thicken to a brushable or trowellable consistency after mixing. These non-sag products are especially useful for an application to vertical or overhead surfaces. Polygel rubber moulds are suitable for casting plaster, concrete and waxes, as well as limited casting with polyester, epoxy and polyurethane resins. Since Polygel products bond well to many surfaces, ensure you use the appropriate release agent.
