Polymer Clay –
Polymer clay is a synthetic modelling material made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its high plasticity makes it great for sculpting and moulding. It can also be baked in a conventional oven, so there’s no kiln needed. Since it doesn’t don’t air dry, you also have more time to work with it. We have clay available in a wide range of colours so you can let your imagination run wild. Sculpey Premo is ideal for mica shift, mokume-gane, and caning. It’s also great for more experienced artists as it’s perfect for specialised techniques. Sculpey Soufflé is great for large home décor pieces, jewellery, mixed media, and more. Super Sculpey original polymer clay is ideal for doll-making and animation. It has a ceramic like feel and allows for extremely detailed sculpting.
Cosclay is a hybrid, plastic/rubber clay that will remain strong and flexible after curing. Unlike other polymer clays, its unique flexibility makes it suitable for applications, such as stop-motion, posable figures, one of a kind (OOAK) sculpture and more! Cosclay offers glow in the dark colours for those special figurines that need luminescence. Our clay comes in a variety of sizes including from small 57gm, to larger 450gm blocks. We also have a clay softener, which comes in very handy if your clay is hard due to ageing or too much air exposure. If you need to bond clay pieces together, our liquid polymer clay acts as a great adhesive. All polymer clays should be baked in a safe environment with good ventilation. Try a small benchtop oven for convenience!
