Bodywrap Bandage Roll

Bodywrap plaster bandages are ideal for creating a rigid case over an alginate life cast or as a fast case mould over flexible moulding materials like our Pinkysil ODDBOD. Especially great for use in projects involving faces, heads and torsos. These bandages are all 3 metres in length and are available in 3 sizes – 3inch (75mm), 6 inch (150mm) and 8 inch (200mm). The bandages may be cut into various sizes, by length and by width. We recommend cutting all your bandages into assorted sizes prior to starting your project. This helps reduce time wasted on cutting whilst your model is in position during life casting applications. Submerge the bandages one by one in a bucket that is filled with water. Water temperature is key as water that is too cold may prevent the bandages from setting and hot water can limit your work time as they will start to set. Once fully submerged, wring the excess water out which helps assist in dry time and makes it easier to smooth out and manipulate the bandage over the alginate or rubber surface.
