Our Hex Platter Mould is available in two sizes. These are ready to use silicone moulds that may be used with a variety of casting materials. An appropriate casting resin such as an epoxy or polyurethane is a popular choice, but other materials like wax or acrylic resins like Forton MG may also be used. These moulds are made by Barnes using a high quality silicone and may be re-used to create beautiful homewares. The platter is part of our classic homewares range, so check out the 11cm and 20cm styles to create a matching pair. The finish of the mould is gloss, and the cured platters may be easily stacked on one another. The smaller 11cm platter requires about 80ml to fill, and the larger 20cm platter requires roughly 260ml to fill. Note: all measurements are approximate. Due to the handmade nature of this mould, imperfections may exist in the mould and dimensions may change when cast piece is sanded.
