Super Sculpey® is a unique polymer clay, loved by artists, doll makers and animation studios around the world. It has a ceramic like feel and allows for extremely detailed sculpting. Super Sculpey clay is a ceramic like sculpting compound that is shatter and chip resistant. It remains soft and pliable if stored in a cool place and can be baked to a varying degree of hardness in conventional ovens. It becomes hard for easier painting and/or glazing and can be carved, sanded and drilled. Sculpey is a sulphur free product., suitable with Barnes silicone rubber products.
Super Sculpey® features fine tooling and detailing characteristics and does not “fill in” after tooling.
Stays soft until baked – Does not air dry. Remains soft until it is baked in your home oven.
Extra clay can be stored and reused – won’t dry out!
May be mixed with other Sculpey clays to create various colours.
Semi-translucent beige, that once baked, captures the glow of real skin.

Since the clay is soft, you can add intricate details to your creations and shape and reshape them until you get the design right. If you choose to bake your product, place it on a baking sheet or mat and put it in the oven at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness.
