Release Agents –

Our large range of release agents will help separate a variety of different materials from one another. We have products suitable for use with epoxy and polyester resin, plaster, gypsums and cement, as well as low-melt alloys, silicones and Polyurethane resins, foams and elastomers. Our mould release sprays are super easy to use, just spray on to your mould surface. Some sprays are also colourless and non-staining, so you don’t need to worry about ruining your original.

We also carry a range of waxes including TR regular paste wax, Miracle Gloss, resin mould wax, and J-Wax in both aerosol and liquid formulas. Waxes are great for releasing polyurethane, polyester and epoxy resins. Try our PVA which is a special formula release agent for the fiberglass industry. This product is designed to prevent lamination of the product to the mould. PVA is best used in conjunction with wax style release agents as an extra or additional barrier. Or use our Flexi-Coat release, just spray or brush it into a polyurethane rubber mould before casting plaster or concrete. Graphite Powder is great for extending the life of silicone moulds used in low-melt alloy casting. Pure Lube Mould soap is the industry standard for releasing plaster and gypsum from a plaster mould. As for releasing silicone from silicone, have a look at our food grade Petroleum Jelly, Stoner A324 or J-Wax.
