Silicone adhesives are used for bonding and repairing cured silicone rubber in New Zealand. As silicone generally only adheres to itself or silica-based materials, specialized adhesives are needed to repair moulds, join silicone parts or improve adhesion to non-silicone surfaces. Primers are also available for use with addition cure silicone systems.
