Our Organic Medium Oval Platter Mould is a ready to use silicone mould. An appropriate casting resin such as an epoxy or polyurethane is a popular choice, but other materials like wax or acrylic resins like Forton MG may also be used. These moulds are made by Barnes using a high quality silicone and may be re-used to create beautiful homewares. The platter is part of our classic homewares range and will produce a glossy finish. The length of the platter is approximately 260mm long and 100mm wide. The Organic Medium Oval Platter Mould takes approximately 140ml of resin to fill. Note: all measurements are approximate. Due to the handmade nature of this mould, imperfections may exist in the mould and dimensions may change when cast piece is sanded.
