Forton MG (Forton Modified Gypsum) is a system whereby a polymer additive (Forton VF812) enhances the properties of the alpha gypsum (USG-FGR95) it is blended with. This particular kit is made up of two components, an alpha gypsum and a specially formulated, all acrylic co-polymer (50% solids). This product may be used to cast solid parts, rotationally cast, brushed on for projects such as mould jackets and hand layups in conjunction with fibreglass materials and scrim materials for added strength. This system is for interior or protected use only. Metal Powders and Pigments may be added, please check data sheet for recommended ratio and details. We recommend that this system is mixed/sheared mechanically and not by hand for optimum results.
