It is commonly mixed with Epoxy Resin and Polyurethanes. Aluminium Granules is also used with resins to create a cold cast metal effect. The granules are mixed with the resin and then buffed or sanded once cured, creating a speckly grit finish. Please note that the colour of the metal particals may vary between batches and can change over time due to oxidisation. If you require a consistant colour, please order a quantity that is large enough to complete your project rather than buying smaller quantities as you need it. The Aluminium Granules have an average particle size (D50) of 400 Micron.
